ABOUT VALET TRASH & HAULING
Lake Anna's Trash Service. Built by a Neighbor Who Knows These Roads.
There are plenty of waste haulers in central Virginia. There’s one company that lives here, works here, and built an entire service operation around the specific challenges of owning property at Lake Anna. That’s Valet Trash & Hauling — and that’s the difference.
Meet Scott Randlett
Scott Randlett has called Lake Anna home since 2007. He’s on the water with his family when he’s not working — fishing in the early mornings, boating on weekends, and genuinely invested in keeping the lake and its communities in good shape.
Before founding Valet, Scott spent his career building the kind of discipline that running a service business demands. He served as a Deputy Sheriff in Northern Virginia, rising to the rank of Sergeant before transitioning into commercial logistics — first as a safety manager for a trucking company, then working his way to General Manager over fifteen years. He knows how to run an operation. He knows what reliable actually looks like.
When he saw that Lake Anna — a growing, busy recreational destination with hundreds of residential and vacation properties — had a clear gap in dependable, flexible trash service, he built the answer. Valet Trash & Hauling launched to fill that gap, and it’s been growing through word of mouth and neighbor referrals ever since.
Scott has one standard: Show up when you say you will, do what you say you’ll do, and treat every customer’s property the way you’d want your own treated.
What Makes Valet Different
This isn’t a pitch. It’s just context for why Lake Anna homeowners and businesses keep calling Valet and why the referrals keep coming in.
Locally owned & operated
Scott lives at Lake Anna. This isn’t a regional franchise with a local driver — it’s a family business built specifically for this community.
Built for lake properties
Long gravel driveways, steep grades, seasonal schedules, part-time occupancy, short-term rentals — Valet’s service was designed around these realities from day one.
Direct owner contact
When you call Valet, you reach Scott. Not a dispatcher, not a call center. One person, accountable for every job.
15 years of operations experience
Scott’s commercial management background means Valet runs like a professional operation — consistent scheduling, reliable communication, no excuses.
Flexible by design
Full-time residents, weekend homeowners, STR hosts, commercial businesses, one-time jobs — Valet adapts to the customer, not the other way around.
Licensed & insured
Valet Trash & Hauling is fully licensed and insured in Virginia. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
Community members
Proud members of the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Anna Business Partnership.
Our Mission
The lake should be fun, not full of chores.
That’s the short version. The longer version: Valet exists because property owners at Lake Anna — full-timers, weekenders, vacation rental hosts, and business operators alike — deserve a trash and hauling service that understands their situation and actually shows up. No runaround, no transfer station runs, no bags riding home in the back of your car.
Scott started Valet to serve his community. Every service decision — doorstep pickup, flexible scheduling, on-demand availability, event support — traces back to that mission. The lake is better when the people who love it can spend their time enjoying it.
